A classic. ‘Nuff said

Monty Masters was clearly taking notes when he listened to “Pat Novak, for Hire.”

This was a lot of fun. Just rating it on the merits of its detective-story plot, it would be pretty poor, but the dialogue was so entertaining that the plot didn’t matter much. I can’t call it a timeless classic, but it gets a solid “It stands the test of time.”

David Daley

I agree, Dave. It was also a lot of fun to listen to the MORLS talk and laugh about it afterward too.

If y’all want to hear more of whatever genre Candy inhabits, queue up a few Vincent Price episodes of The Saint.
