This week we’re listening to “W is for Werewolf” from Dark Fantasy as part of our Monster Month! The story depicts a visit to a remote island where a troubled man’s only surviving son seems to be suffering from a strange condition. As a treat for theater fans in the Minneapolis/St. Paul region, the production features a performance by the Twin Cities’ own Don Stolz! Can this father find a cure for what ails his son? Will this story live up to the high standards set by Spawn of the Sub-Human? Does anyone know what monsters the other 25 letters stand for? Listen for yourself and find out! Then vote and let us know what you think:

Well done! We are grateful for this thorough demonstration of your monsterological skills!
This show had some of the worst, most clumsy dialogue (and monologues!) I’ve ever listened to. It felt like there were half a dozen times when a character said “Oh, by the way…” to transition to a new topic or introduce new information.
Hi. I was wanting to use two 15 second snippets from W is for werewolf, to use in a rock song. Do you know if the show is still under copyright? And if I’d be able to use it? Thanks N
Obligatory preface: I’m not a lawyer! This is as best I know based on a bunch of Googling. Take it all with a grain of salt. That being said, we certainly hope you’re free to use it because we’re essentially sampling the whole thing. It’s not clearly in the public domain that I know of, but it is largely treated as an Orphaned Work since it’s all over the internet and no one has stepped up claim ownership. You’re probably fine to use it.
