Objectively, it’s terrible, but I have to give it “classic” status nonetheless. It’s as if Ed Wood himself wrote Old Time Radio! The stream-of-consciousness plotting, narrative cul-de-sacs and absurd twists made this one of the most delightful radio dramas I’ve ever heard. The thing that made me laugh the hardest was the attempt at an EC Comics twist-a-roo. “He was LOSING HIS VOICE!” On one hand, it’s a cursed irony that so much of this series survives while much of Cooper and Obeler may be lost forever.
